Delegates at the annual FIDI Conference in Geneva turned out in their running shoes to support FIDI’s adopted charity, Operation Smile Honduras.
On a beautiful sunny day, the eager participants ran through the Botanical Gardens and were treated to spectacular views of Lake Geneva and the mountains as they ran, which was just as well as last minute changes to the route meant the runners covered nearer 9 kms than the planned 5k!
Reason Global staff took the lazy option this year and helped marshal at points along the run to make sure everyone knew where they were going. Coming back, some out of breath runners were already questioning the length of the course, but all in good spirits.
Bernardo Villas, one of the directors of the charity, presented medals to all participants and a good amount of money was raised for this worthy cause.
