On September 15th and 16th, the moving and storage industries again descended upon Silverstone to meet with exhibitors and colleagues and see the latest industry offerings. Spread over the two days with a party night in between, the event was a huge success.
Reason Global looked to entertain the attendees at this year’s Movers & Storers Show at Silverstone with a full size F1 Style Simulator, with all proceeds from donations going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Visitors to the stand could make a donation and test their driving skills with a lap of the Silverstone circuit surrounding them, but without the wind and rain! There were three winners. The fastest male lap was taken by James Penrose-Toms of Oliver’s Removals with a time of 47.493 and the fastest female lap went to Anita Riggall of Riggalls Removals, with a time of 57.870.
The third winner was undoubtedly Macmillan Cancer Support. Animo, as show organisers, got on board and organised an auction in aid of Macmillan at the show Party Night, with attendees digging deep to support the cause by bidding for items from an Aston Martin driving experience to a box of sweets! Through this and the support at our stand from exhibitors and attendees alike, a total of just over £3,000 was raised for their much needed services.
Reason Global will be sending out winners prizes of £100 Red Letter Days vouchers to the two budding Lewis Hamiltons to use as they wish, be it for another lap of the track for real or a nice pamper at a Spa after wearing out their feet covering all the stands at the show!
Thank you to all the exhibitors and attendees who stopped by to say hello and who were so very generous in their support!
