The Reason Global team enjoyed catching up with many clients at the Movers & Storers Show at Event City in Manchester on 21st and 22nd November.
The Show hosted movers and storers from across the UK and overseas, with exhibitors showcasing a wide range of products and innovations connected to the industry.
The two-day event produced a number of interesting seminar sessions discussing topical issues within the industry. Following recent publicity in the trade press, Reason Global took part in the session discussing the £40 limit of liability. Joined by industry colleagues and the Director General of the British Association of Removers, Ian Studd, the panel debated the topic in front of a full house and generated some stimulating and interesting discussion.
Other highlights of the show included a huge display of gleaming new trucks, masterclasses on how to disassemble and move a grand piano (an impressive operation to see when done the right way!) and various awards and competitions including Britain’s Strongest Mover which saw three guys from BCL Moving pulling trucks in pink tutus to support Prevent Breast Cancer – the exhibition’s chosen charity this year. Well done lads!
