Reason Global clients Van Girls are hiking 26 miles in the Lake District to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The London based all-female team recently received the crushing news that one of their colleagues was suffering from secondary bone cancer. Serene Panayi has already beaten breast cancer, but this year the cancer returned to her spine. What she thought was a bad back, was actually secondary bone cancer. Serene’s had two vertebrae removed and is having ongoing cancer treatment. This is incurable, but she’s determined to live to the fullest for as long as possible.
In her honour, the Van Girls are hiking 26 miles in the Lake District to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who offer vital services to so many people in Serene’s position. Serene is also hoping to walk with the team which would be an incredible achievement given what she’s been through!
Please join us in sponsoring the Van Girls to help them reach their fundraising target and give them inspiration they need to see them through the MANY miles!
