The annual FEDESSA Conference is always a great opportunity for us to catch up with familiar faces and long-standing clients from across Europe, as well as meet new people from the self-storage community.
This year, the FEDESSA Conference & Trade Show took place at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in the Wiesbaden-Frankfurt area – a new location for our team and, as it turned out, a great setting for three days of conversations, ideas and industry insight.
The event brought together operators, suppliers and industry experts to discuss the trends shaping the European storage market, from operational excellence and property development to technology, marketing and the changing needs of customers.
Representing Reason Global were Georgie Baker, Andrew Smith, Emma Roberts and Jacob Dolan, who made the most of the opportunity to catch up with clients, meet new contacts and hear more about what is happening across the industry.
And then there was Boxtoberfest.
Taking inspiration from traditional Oktoberfest celebrations, this year’s theme culminated in the LagerMeisters Awards Night. On the final evening, the usual black-tie dress code was swapped for Lederhosen, Dirndls and checked shirts – making for a memorable end to an already enjoyable conference.
As always, we came away with plenty of new ideas, valuable insight and a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the European self-storage industry.
